Mastercam CNC Programmer – 5-Axis
Location: Curtis Bay, MD

Schedule: Monday–Friday
We are seeking a highly experienced Mastercam CNC Programmer for a precision manufacturing operation in Curtis Bay, MD. This is an advanced-level position for someone with extensive hands-on experience programming CNC equipment using Mastercam, including 5-axis machining.
This is NOT an entry-level programming or CNC Operator position. Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of Mastercam programming experience to be considered.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam
- Program complex parts for 5-axis CNC machining
- Create efficient toolpaths, machining strategies, and setups
- Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
- Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining methods
- Troubleshoot programs and make necessary adjustments
- Work closely with machinists to ensure programs run accurately and efficiently
- Identify opportunities to reduce cycle times and improve machining processes
- Maintain accuracy while working with complex components and tight tolerances
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of CNC programming experience using Mastercam – REQUIRED
- Hands-on 5-axis programming experience – REQUIRED
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and tooling
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of speeds, feeds, tolerances, and machining strategies
- Ability to independently program complex parts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Pay: $28.47 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
