Job Description:
The Ideal CNC Programmer will be part of a team of quality professionals in fast-paced company specializing in short run space and defense components.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Interpret customer drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerance, and specifications.
- Proficiency in working with MasterCam required, knowledge of Solidworks software a plus
- Ability to write and edit three, four, and five-axis programs for CNC 5 axis machines
- Experience with Matsuura and Fanuc controls is preferred
- Work closely with quoting department on new projects
- Designs fixturing, including modeling and making drawings of necessary components
- Assist machine operators, quality lead, and management in the troubleshooting of machining issues and offer advice on best machining practices
- Operate within AS9100/ISO9001 requirements to include proper documentation, revision control, traceability and lot control
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Skills Requirements:
- Ability to work well with others.
- Must be a US citizen

- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to handle and follow instruction.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years' experience as a Programmer required
- 5 years' experience as a Machinist required
