Precision CNC Specialist

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Compensation: $31-$38 per hour (dependent on experience)

• Efficiently setting up and controlling CNC machinery (mills, lathes, or multi-axis) to fabricate precise components based on detailed engineering plans.
• Translate and execute blueprints, technical sketches, and GD&T directives for flawless machining.
• Conduct initial article inspections and maintain in-process quality control using advanced measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
• Adjust machinery settings, tools, and feeds strategically to uphold dimensional and quality standards.
• Tactfully identify and resolve machining challenges such as tool degradation and surface anomalies.
• Engage in preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting of CNC apparatuses.
• Work in tandem with engineers, quality assurance personnel, and production leads to refine machining operations.

• Experience: Minimum 2-5 years in CNC machining, preferably in sectors such as aerospace or automotive.
• Technical Competence: Proficient in G-code, blueprint interpretation, and GD&T standards. Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, or Siemens control systems advantageous.
• Commitment to Quality: Skillful in utilizing precision measurement equipment and recognized inspection processes. Experience with standards like AS9100 or ISO 9001 is preferred.
• Analytical Approach: Capable of autonomously troubleshooting machining problems with precision.
• Meticulousness: Dedicated to crafting components with exacting tolerances.
• Physical Suitability: Ability to sustain prolonged periods of standing, handle up to 50 lbs, and operate in an environment surrounded by noise and machining substances.
• Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. in compliance with federal and California employment laws.
