Flexographic Press Technician

Picture yourself walking onto a clean, organized production floor where precision and pace go hand-in-hand. You review the day's work orders, set up a flexographic press for a new label run, and fine-tune materials and tooling so every print matches customer specs. Throughout the shift, you keep a sharp eye on print quality, adjust for consistency, and document output so production targets stay on track.

When something isn’t running right, your troubleshooting instincts kick in. You pinpoint the root cause—mechanical, material, or process—resolve it safely, verify calibration, and keep operations efficient. By the end of the shift, you’ve delivered high-quality labels, kept accurate records, and left your area spotless for the next run.

• Set up and run flexographic printing presses for scheduled production jobs.
• Interpret and follow work orders and job specifications with accuracy.
• Align priorities to production schedules and deadlines.
• Produce label products that meet company and customer quality standards.
• Monitor press performance and maintain efficient throughput.
• Conduct routine in-process quality checks and inspections.
• Troubleshoot issues and identify root causes related to equipment or process.
• Record production data and daily output accurately.
• Stage and manage required raw materials, tooling, and supplies.
• Verify equipment calibration and promptly escalate concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including sweeping and waste removal.

• Experience in machining, manufacturing, printing, or similar industrial work preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
• Basic math and measurement proficiency.
• Ability to learn new processes and follow detailed instructions.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
