As a Restaurant Server In Luby's Restaurant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide attentive and personalized service, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. You will be expected to have a thorough knowledge of the menu offerings, including daily specials, to effectively assist guests in their selections. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dining area, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere for all patrons. Ultimately, your efforts will directly impact guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of our establishment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role preferred.


• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in food safety and handling.


• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.


• Knowledge of wine and beverage pairings.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.


• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest preferences are noted.


• Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables and managing supplies.


• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any guest concerns promptly.
