- Lead single-plaintiff, class action, collective action, and PAGA matters through all phases of litigation.
- Collaborate with relationship partners to develop strategy and take ownership of its execution.
- Direct discovery, take and defend depositions, and work with expert witnesses.
- Draft and argue dispositive and other significant motions.
- Appear in court and represent clients at trial and in arbitration proceedings.
- Lead settlement negotiations and advocate for clients in mediations.
- Prepare complex matters for trial and arbitration.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients across a range of industries.
- At least seven years of California labor and employment litigation experience.
- Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.
- A Juris Doctor degree.
- The ability to independently manage significant litigation matters.
- Experience handling complex class action and PAGA matters, including class certification, dispositive motions, expert discovery, and trial preparation.
- Experience handling single-plaintiff FEHA-related claims.
- Excellent writing, analytical, advocacy, and interpersonal skills.
- Sound judgment, initiative, and a collaborative approach.
