We’re seeking a detail-oriented and dependable HR & Payroll Coordinator to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in supporting our employees, managing payroll and benefits, and maintaining accurate HR records.
Position Overview:
The HR & Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day human resources and payroll operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. This position also provides occasional support to the accounting department, assisting with accounts receivable when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time, including timecard review, deductions, and benefit contributions
- Maintain employee records, including new hire documentation, onboarding, and personnel changes
- Coordinate benefits enrollment, updates, and employee communications
- Assist with recruiting efforts, interview scheduling, and applicant tracking
- Support employee relations, performance documentation, and HR policy administration
- Track attendance, PTO, and other HR-related data
- Prepare and distribute HR and payroll reports as needed
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state labor laws
- Assist with general accounting tasks, including helping with accounts receivable as needed
- Provide administrative support to management and other departments as required
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in HR, payroll, or a related administrative role
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and employment laws
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday
