Job Summary (Informatica ETL Contractor)
- Serve as a core technical problem-solver for the Claims Business unit, focusing on ETL workflows and data reliability.
- Analyze existing data workflows to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, operational issues, and errors.
- Propose, design, and implement technical solutions to enhance system efficiency and business processes.
- Audit legacy ETL processes and recommend operational and architectural improvements.
- Design, build, and deploy flexible, scalable, and reusable ETL frameworks using Informatica PowerCenter and/or IICS.
- Collaborate closely with Database Engineering/DBA teams to align data models, optimize SQL queries, and streamline deployments.
- Provide comprehensive, hands-on production support, including root-cause analysis and performance tuning for critical ETL pipelines.
- Utilize advanced expertise in Informatica (PowerCenter/IICS) and strong knowledge of Oracle databases (complex SQL, PL/SQL, performance optimization).
- Apply extensive experience in production support, incident management, and system maintenance.
- Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical issues to business stakeholders.
- Exhibit strong cross-functional collaboration abilities, especially with database and business teams.
- No prior insurance industry experience required; open to candidates with strong ETL engineering and support backgrounds from any industry.
