Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic – 1st & 2nd Shift
Location: Newbury Park
Reports To: Lead Engineer
Overview:
ESW is seeking skilled and mechanically inclined individuals to join our maintenance team. We’re hiring for both 1st and 2nd shift positions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations across all shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Provide unscheduled repairs of equipment during production.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Prepare and carry out mechanical duties involving mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair production machines to minimize downtime.
- Start up, set up, and operate production machinery as needed.
- Read, interpret, and understand equipment manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints.
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with industrial or manufacturing equipment preferred.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Willingness to work assigned shift (1st or 2nd) and flexible hours as required.
Shift Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
