You will oversee leasing activities, handle tenant relations, coordinate maintenance, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, provide property tours, and promote storage unit rentals through upselling and effective sales techniques.
- Manage lease agreements, including signing contracts, processing payments, and updating tenant records using property management software such as Yardi or Cubby.
- Handle tenant inquiries, resolve conflicts professionally, and manage lease renewals or terminations with tact and clarity.
- Conduct regular property inspections to oversee maintenance needs, coordinate repairs, and ensure facilities are clean, safe, and compliant with legal standards including enforcing Lien.
- Maintain accurate data entry, filing systems, and records related to leasing, payments, legal documentation, and maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with vendors for property upkeep, oversee facilities management tasks using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette when communicating with tenants or vendors and foster positive customer relationships through attentive service.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on self-storage or similar facilities.
- Familiarity with property leasing processes, contracts, and legal administrative procedures related to Self-Storage.
- Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi or Cubby; experience with data entry and office administrative tasks is essential.
- Strong customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to handle tenant concerns effectively.
- Previous experience in facilities management or property maintenance coordination is highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation skills for upselling storage units and resolving lease disputes while maintaining professionalism.
