Job description:
The Supervisor - Intellectual Disabilities assists the Administrative Officer in managing Supports Coordination in compliance with state regulations and agency policies. They work with care systems to help individuals with intellectual disabilities reach their full potential.
Key Duties:
- Ensure adherence to agency policies and procedures.
- Lead team meetings to communicate policies, address concerns, and improve problem-solving.
- Monitor daily activities of Supports Coordinators and provide guidance.
- Review and approve Individual Service Plans (ISP) and service utilization.
- Conduct Quality Assurance reviews and compliance checks.
- Train Supports Coordinators and ensure productivity standards.
- Analyze productivity data and maintain compliance in client files.
- Communicate program objectives to staff, providers, and community organizations.
- Provide after-hours emergency on-call coverage.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree (preferred) or bachelor’s degree with a major coursework in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice or other related social sciences; and two years’ experience as a Supports Coordinator. Valid driver’s license and own transportation required.
