Job Title:Senior Perception Engineer
Location:Logan, UT (Onsite)
What's the Job?
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of perception algorithms for LiDAR, radar, camera, and sensor fusion applications across autonomous platforms.
- Architect real-time C processing pipelines for object detection, classification, tracking, and sensor fusion in embedded environments.
- Define sensor selection criteria, integration standards, and validation processes for perception systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure perception outputs align with broader autonomy architecture.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 4-7 years of experience developing perception systems for autonomous vehicles or robotics platforms.
- Proficiency in C (C 11 or newer) and experience building production-grade Linux applications.
- Experience with LiDAR point cloud processing, automotive radar processing, image processing, or sensor fusion.
- Knowledge of Robot Operating System (ROS or ROS2) and messaging architectures like DDS.
