Java Developer - Senior

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Java Developer - Senior to join their team. As a Java Developer - Senior, you will be part of the Software Development department supporting the risk management and technology solutions teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Java Developer - Senior

Location: Southlake, TX (3-4 days onsite)

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications supporting high-volume transactions
• Collaborate with technical and business partners to gather detailed user requirements and translate them into effective solutions
• Create architectural diagrams, technical documentation, and automated test scripts to ensure quality and consistency
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Mentor team members and share best practices to foster a culture of learning and growth
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• 8-10 years of experience with Java, Spring framework, cloud development, and Web Services (REST, SOAP)
• Experience designing solutions for enterprise-wide projects supporting high availability environments
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as Atlassian suite (Bitbucket, Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence)
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile
• Experience with SQL Server, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
