What's the Job?
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities within information systems and networks.
- Implement and monitor risk treatment plans to mitigate identified threats effectively.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements such as NIST CSF and HIPAA Security standards.
- Manage the lifecycle of security policies, ensuring they are current and effectively enforced across the organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote security awareness and foster a culture of continuous improvement in cybersecurity practices.
- 3-4 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years focused on cybersecurity-related work.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- Applicable certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or equivalent are preferred.
- Experience with IT risk assessments, policy management, and security frameworks like NIST CSF and HIPAA.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
