Job Title:Onsite Helpdesk Support Technician

What’s the Job?
- Provide in-person technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, login problems)
- Assist with password resets, account access, and basic system navigation
- Set up and deploy workstations, peripherals, and standard software
- Support conference rooms before and during meetings to ensure proper operation
- Assist users with connecting laptops to displays, projectors, and video conferencing systems
- Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in a ticketing system
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to senior IT staff as needed
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and service-oriented approach when assisting users
- Basic understanding of computer hardware (PCs, laptops, peripherals)
- Foundational knowledge of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, IP basics)
- Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset
- Comfortable assisting users in a professional, in-person setting
- Ability to follow documented procedures and checklists
- Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn
- Coursework or training in IT, computer science, or technology
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace
- Exposure to helpdesk ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, etc.)
- Interest in IT support, networking, or audiovisual technology
- Onsite office environment
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate school commitments
- Business hours support; minimal or no after-hours work
- Part time 3 days a week 4 hrs a day
