What's the Job?
- Assemble, fabricate, and test custom fluid and gas system solutions using hand tools and specialized fabrication equipment.
- Interpret 2D multi-view engineering prints, 3D CAD models, and catalog assembly guides to build assemblies that match the design intent.
- Use tools such as wrenches, sockets, Swagelok tube benders, cold saws, facing tools, and CNC tube bending equipment to produce accurate components.
- Perform pressure and helium leak-testing to verify system integrity and follow established quality procedures.
- Apply judgment and mechanical creativity when real-world components or drawings don’t align perfectly, while staying coachable and collaborative.
- Mechanical aptitude with comfort using hand tools and working through hands-on fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Ability to read a tape measure and work with fine measurements (including micrometer use when required).
- Basic print-reading skills, including interpreting 2D prints or CAD drawings to guide fabrication and assembly.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with others and follow quality expectations.
- Openness to coaching and training, including learning specialized equipment and procedures.
- Work in a clean, climate-controlled environment maintained around 72°F year-round.
- Core hours of approximately 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, on-site.
- Build custom products where no two days are exactly the same—use judgment and problem-solving to get the job done.
- Hands-on training on specialized equipment, including the CNC tube bender and internal electrical certification.
