Job Title: Android Test Automation Engineer

- Software engineering - 5 years
- Software automated testing, specifically Android Test Automation (provisioning, configuring, and running software on physical/prototype devices) - 1 years
- Ability to independently drive technical work and deliver value - 3 years
- Experience with Android/Kotlin or C or other strongly typed languages - there will be a coding test, please ensure candidates have this skillset
- Develop, maintain, and expand automated test suites for Android applications to enhance reliability and product quality.
- Maintain and operate a physical Android device test lab, including device provisioning, configuration, and software updates.
- Partner with senior engineers to integrate tests within automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, improving test reliability.
- Identify coverage gaps, contribute to test planning, and prioritize regression testing based on product telemetry and changes.
- Troubleshoot product and test issues by reproducing defects, analyzing logs, crash data, and telemetry, supporting release readiness.
- 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on test automation.
- 1 years of experience with Android Test Automation, including provisioning and configuring physical devices.
- Ability to independently drive technical work and deliver value with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Android/Kotlin, C , or other strongly-typed programming languages.
- Hands-on experience working with device provisioning, on-device automation, and automation frameworks.
