Job Summary
We are seeking a Home Health Scheduler to join our team. This position plays a key role in ensuring clients receive timely, reliable care by managing caregiver schedules and corrdinating staffing needs.
Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently using EMR systems such as Epic, Meditech, eClinicalWorks, Athenahealth, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and other EHR platforms.
- Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification processes to facilitate
Requirements
- Create and maintain daily caregiver and nurse schedules based on client needs and staff availability
- Communicate scheduling updates and changes promptly to caregivers, clients, and families
- Handle last-minute call-offs and fill open shifts efficiently
- Manage weekend on-call rotation to handle urgent scheduling needs, inquiry calls, and client concerns
- Coordinate with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation
- Build positive relationships with caregivers, clients, and referral partners
- Provide general office and administrative support as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
