The Opportunity
We are seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead and execute Experic’s HR strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role has full ownership of HR operations including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, and HR systems. You will play a key role in scaling our organization and cultivating a high-performing, people-first culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all talent acquisition efforts: sourcing, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding top-tier talent.
- Develop and manage HR programs that support employee engagement, professional development, and performance management.
- Oversee compensation structures, benefits programs, leave administration, and compliance with employment regulations.
- Manage and enhance HR systems, including HRIS, ATS, and payroll, to ensure smooth operations.
- Advise the CEO and senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and policy development.
- Champion culture-building initiatives and employee engagement efforts to support retention and growth.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 7–10 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- Proven success in all core HR functions, especially recruiting and talent acquisition.
- Strong understanding of HR compliance, employment law, and HR best practices.
- Experience managing HRIS, ATS, and payroll platforms.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bonus: HR certifications (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR); experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry; experience working with Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs).
