We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of our tour, festival and event management companies: Our group of companies executes live events, music festivals and curates travel experiences for more than 100,000 people every year from Las Vegas to Cabo San Lucas.

The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, manage cash flow across multiple projects and events, maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide cost accounting and strategic financial insights to support business growth.
The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in budgeting for all tours, events and vendor coordination, ensuring profitability across all services.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee and execute day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and manage budgets.
- Monitor cash flow, revenue streams, and expense tracking per project/event.
- Conduct financial analysis to improve cost efficiency and profitability.
- Assist with collection of past due payables and sending out weekly customer statements
- Maintain accurate weekly accounting of any company bank accounts and credit cards.
- Maintain accurate cost accounting spreadsheets from weekly events, tours and excursions
Cost Control
- Track vendor payments.
- Reconcile advance payments, deposits, and customer balances.
- Monitor foreign currency transactions and exchange rate impacts.
- Analyze event-specific P&L statements.
Strategic Support
- Provide financial insights to management for pricing strategies.
- Support contract negotiations with vendors from a financial perspective.
- Assist in forecasting seasonal revenue trends.
- Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs.
Team Management
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Ensure timely completion of financial tasks and reporting deadlines.
- Improve accounting systems and processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent hands-on business experience.
- 5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience. Familiarity with travel or event management a plus.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software: Quickbooks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
