Work Environment
The technician will work as part of a small, collaborative team of two, reporting directly to the hiring manager. While teamwork is essential, the role also requires a strong ability to work independently.
Typical Responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers and exit signs
- Perform light painting and patching work
- Handle general facility maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot basic building and equipment issues
- Escort and coordinate with vendors as needed
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of maintenance experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic troubleshooting, plumbing, and electrical skills
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout (LOTO) and safety procedures
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 certification
- Boom or scissor lift license
- Experience with pro-press tools, painting, spackling, and advanced plumbing
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and CMMS software
