Role Overview
The contractor will support initiatives within the underwriting and risk platforms, working closely with cross‐functional teams in an Agile environment. This individual will own user story development, participate in UAT, and collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate technical requirements into actionable deliverables.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Managing and writing user stories for underwriting/risk systems
Supporting UAT and user acceptance processes
Translating complex technical topics for business users
Participating in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint activities)
Driving project strategy and supporting implementation plans
Working on products including Pay USM and Credit Shield
Handling enhancements, troubleshooting, and documentation (e.g., user guides)
Collaboration with design teams
Operating as a mid‐level contributor (2–5 years of experience)
The contractor will immediately step into an active, ongoing project.
Core Qualifications

Strong project management background (must be proficient in user story creation)
Ability to lead initiatives from concept through launch
Exceptional organizational and calendar‐management skills
Tools/Technologies:
Copilot/AI proficiency for generating features and documentation
Certifications:

Level: Individual contributor (no direct leadership responsibilities)
Success Measures & Onboarding
Success will be measured by meeting predetermined project timelines and platform‐specific KPIs.
Onboarding will include platform demos, shadowing sessions with SMEs and stakeholders, and ongoing check‐ins to ensure alignment.
Interview Process
Round 1: 45‐minute interview with Laura Kirkman
Round 2: Panel interview with three team members
Supports the Product Manager's product vision for our Unified Credit Module & Credit Shield underwriting and risk platforms. Helps to shape the product roadmap based on client and user feedback, usage metrics and competitive research. Works closely with internal departments (Product Design UI/UX, Development team, Credit/ Underwriting and Sales) and external stakeholders (customers and partners) to strategically improve your product portfolio. Manages the Product Life Cycle process for portfolio product offerings. Actively supports sales & credit with expertise, consulting, tools, and collateral. Acts as the products’ champion within the development ceremonies, demos, UAT and when attending project meetings.
Agile methodology, requirements and user story creation. Able to perform UAT. Ability to create simple process flows, system/ data diagrams, follow & contibute to project plans, Copilot capabilities a plus.
