Work Environment
- Manufacturing facility (semiconductor)
- Safety skills and comfort working around hazardous materials/chemicals are essential
Daily Responsibilities
- Perform environmental rounds, including:
- Checking alarms and temperatures
- Inspecting VOC scrubbers and filtration systems
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
- Perform basic carpentry tasks: patching, painting, and finishing of walls, ceilings, and floors
- Support skilled trades: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry
- Safely interface with building fire protection systems
- Maintain and track inventories of critical consumable items
- Ensure workplace safety by keeping areas clean, organized, and compliant
Must-Have Skills
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
- Basic understanding of energy management systems (climate control)
- Ability to work safely with building fire protection systems
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work around hazardous materials
- Ability to perform hands-on maintenance tasks with high quality and consistency
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Hazardous Materials Training (HAZWOPER 10/30/40-hour certification)
- OSHA 10/30-hour training
- MA Wastewater License (preferred but not required)
- Experience working around hazardous chemicals (gallium, arsenic, chlorine, ammonia, xylene, etc.)
- Ability to wear a respirator (SCBA) when required
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Software Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation, reporting, and training
Interview Process

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
