The consultant supports instructional quality, compliance, and continuous improvement while working in a client-facing capacity that requires independent judgment, collaboration, and effective communication.
This position requires travel to school sites and provides direct support to clients and internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and program fidelity.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide solution-oriented guidance to support student achievement, program quality, and effective operations.
- Track and monitor data on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, create reports and solutions for increasing program efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serve as a liaison between the central office, school districts, site administrators, and designated contacts.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support instructional practices and program implementation.
- Analyze professional development needs and plan, develop, and deliver trainings, workshops, and instructional support aligned with Expatiate’s standards of care.
- Observe instruction, monitor curriculum implementation, and support fidelity of instructional practices.
- Assist with the development, selection, and distribution of instructional materials and field resources.
- Conduct special education assessments, facilitate IEP meetings, and provide Specialized Academic Instruction (SAI) services as assigned.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document student progress using assessment data, observations, and IEP tools.
- Compile and report student achievement, progress, and program outcomes accurately and on time.
- Maintain compliant student records in accordance with IDEA, FAPE, CDE, SEIS, district, and Expatiate requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all special education mandates, timelines, and testing requirements.
- Serve as a resource to parents, site personnel, district staff, vendors, and public/private agencies.
- Coordinate referrals, services, and follow-up support as needed.
- Respond to school agency requests for new or revised programs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain current knowledge of special education laws, research, and best practices through ongoing professional development.
- Travel to school sites, trainings, seminars, and conferences as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including direct student services when applicable.
Required
- Master’s degree in Special Education from an accredited institution.
- Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Special Education Credential.
- Minimum of 3 years of special education teaching experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum, instructional practices, and state/national content standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess needs, identify solutions, and implement effective strategies.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and delegate responsibilities when appropriate to ensure timely and efficient outcomes.
- High level of independence and accountability, with the ability to follow through on assignments with minimal or no supervision.
