Position
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role is instrumental in supporting daily HR operations and enhancing the employee experience across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will be experienced in full-cycle recruitment, benefits administration, payroll support, and employee requests, with a passion for building a positive and inclusive workplace.
Compensation, Benefits, Schedule, and Location
- Compensation: The salary range is $67,000 to $70,000 Generous Bonus
- Benefits: Paid time off, medical insurance, life insurance and short-term disability insurance cover 100% for the employee, vision, dental, and long-term disability insurance, and 401k employer matching up to 4% of salary
- Schedule: Regular work hours are generally 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with flexibility
- Location: This position requires the Human Resources Generalist to work from the administrative offices in Pompano Beach, FL.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, posting openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating new hire onboarding
- Administer employee benefits programs, including orientations, annual open enrollment, leaves of absence, and accommodations, while maintaining proper documentation via Employee Navigator
- Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, ensuring timely and professional communication
- · Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including processing changes (personal info, employment status, garnishments, loan requests, PTO pay out requests, filing, reports, terminations, etc.) and respond to employment verifications and unemployment claims
- Audit monthly health insurance invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Support weekly payroll processing using Paychex Flex, ensuring accurate and timely submissions
- Attend the production morning huddle biweekly to stay informed of operational priorities and foster cross-functional collaboration
- Assist with special HR projects and initiatives that support departmental and organizational goals
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on recruitment, benefits, and payroll
- Solid knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Required to read and write English and follow verbal instructions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and lead
- Highly organized with excellent time management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Paychex and Employee Navigator preferred
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity
- A positive, customer-service-oriented mindset with a collaborative team spirit
