What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Services Coordinator position at Exodus Recovery Inc.?
Job Summary:
Exodus Recovery is looking for full time and per-diem Social Services Coordinators to provide therapeutic interventions, psychosocial assessments, initiate contacts with a variety of community resources; and implement linkages and discharge planning for clients in the OC CSU.
Requirements:
- Two (2) years clinical experience in the mental health field or hospital setting preferred
- Substance abuse treatment experience preferred
- Current registration with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences required
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic interventions, assessment, community resources and crisis intervention skills
- Must be available to work weekdays and weekends
- Ability to work independently and show mature judgment. Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively
- Current CPR Certification and current CPI Certification preferred
- Master’s Degree required in a mental health related field PhD, PsyD, MSW, MFT or RN
