Role Description
The LCAS-Classroom Facilitator is a full-time, on-site role located in Monror, NC. In this role, the facilitator will lead and deliver educational group sessions focused on substance use recovery and emotional wellness, providing structure and guidance to clients as they navigate their treatment programs. Duties include facilitating classroom instruction, creating supportive and interactive environments, maintaining accurate participant records, collaborating with the broader care team, and adhering to evidence-based practices to promote recovery and personal growth.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in facilitating group sessions, delivering educational content, and skill-building workshops
- Experience in substance use treatment, relapse prevention, and counseling techniques
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills for maintaining detailed and accurate participant documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers and community partners
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) credential or equivalent required
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices in behavioral health and addiction recovery
- Understanding of social determinants of health and their impact on recovery outcomes
