Bartender

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves mixing drinks, serving customers, and ensuring a memorable experience in both fine dining and lively nightclub settings. Prior experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, along with a background in food safety and hospitality, will be highly valued.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness in accordance with food safety standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health regulations for food handling and safety
• Assist in setting up catering events, banquets, or private parties as needed
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours while maintaining high-quality service
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environment; fine dining or food industry experience is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and drink mixing calculations
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts
• Experience in serving at nightclubs or catering events is a plus
• Basic understanding of brewing techniques and hospitality operations is advantageous
• Must be at least 21 years old (or age required by local regulations)
