The Position

We are seeking a candidate with a passion for crafting coffee drinks, cocktails, and providing counter food service within a new Café concept at Exmoor Country Club. The ideal candidate will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, demonstrate strong multi-tasking skills, and work successfully both in a team and independently. They should possess charisma, professionalism, and an innate understanding of coffee drinks and simple cocktails. A solid background in either the food & beverage or hospitality industry is required to ensure an exceptional counter service experience.

A friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills are essential for the social environment of a country club, where cultivating a warm and welcoming atmosphere is paramount. This candidate's attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting make them an ideal fit for elevating the members' overall experience at the club through expertly crafted beverages and personable interactions.

The History

Founded in 1896 as Illinois' third golf club, Exmoor is a private, full-service country club, located in Highland Park, Illinois, 28 miles north of Chicago. With a championship golf course designed by Donald J. Ross, Exmoor continues to fulfill its original mission as a family club devoted to the game of golf, while offering a growing range of sports and social opportunities. Sports at Exmoor include golf, curling, tennis, swimming, ice skating, platform tennis, cross-country skiing, and the fastest-growing sport in America, pickleball. Members of all ages enjoy a year-round schedule of exciting social activities.

The Club's mission is to provide the finest golf, sporting, and social experiences for its community of member families and their guests all year long.
