- If you would like to run your own satellite operation while having the assistance from the home base of a large Mechanical Contractor, this position is for you. This position could transition into being a leader of others as the work grows in the area. **
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years HVAC experience preferred
- Sign on Bonus: Up to $5,000 depending on experience
- Salary Range: $65,000–$95,000
- Travel: Minimal (typically in Cleveland/Akron, Ohio area within a 60-mile radius)
- Specialties: Advanced HVAC service
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Candidates experience preferred would be the following:
- Maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting HVAC systems
- Able to work independently while coordinating with the main office
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical malfunctions; repairing or replacing damaged components
- Performing regularly scheduled preventive maintenance
- Building strong customer relationships and understanding customer needs and expectations
Technicians may have the opportunity to advance into specialized areas if they choose such as:
- Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Industrial/Institutional boiler and chiller service
- Food Service
- Site Lead Technician roles across various environments including:
- Industrial plants
- Large- and medium-scale manufacturing sites
- Additional options based on skills, interests, and location
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work effectively with technicians, administrative staff, and customers
- Willingness to work some overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC/R systems and controls
- Efficient on paperwork and time entry
- Willingness to continuously learn, train, and expand technical capabilities
