About the Role
We are seeking a Production Technician to join our immersive experience team—bringing cutting-edge environments to life through light, sound, video, and interactive technologies. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary crew that blends artistry and engineering to create unforgettable audience experiences.
As a Production Technician, you’ll support the setup, maintenance, and operation of production systems for immersive installations, live shows, and events. You’ll work hands-on with projection, LED, lighting, audio, and control systems—helping to ensure flawless technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup, calibration, and operation of audio, lighting, video, projection, and interactive systems.
- Support load-in, installation, maintenance, and strike of immersive environments and show components.
- Conduct equipment testing, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed to maintain system reliability.
- Collaborate closely with creative, production, and technical teams to realize design and show concepts.
- Maintain organized documentation for equipment, cabling, media servers, and control systems.
- Follow and enforce safety protocols and industry best practices during all production phases.
- Provide on-site technical support during rehearsals and live operation of immersive experiences.
- Assist with inventory management, ensuring all gear is properly maintained and tracked.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2 years of experience in live event production, themed entertainment, or experiential installations.
- Working knowledge of lighting, sound, video, or control systems and Team Viewer.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and signal flow diagrams.
- Comfortable working hands-on with tools and rigging equipment.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours as production schedules require.
Preferred:
- Experience with immersive technologies such as projection mapping, spatial audio, sensors, or XR environments.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, Dante, Art-Net, sACN, etc.).
- Basic skills in media server operation, lighting console programming, or audio mixing.
- Background in theatre production, event technology, or AV integration.
