About the Role:
This position is primarily focused on receiving and dock operations, with secondary responsibilities for driving a box truck as needed. The ideal candidate will support the receiving and shipping functions, loading/unloading freight, and transporting packages between facilities. The ability to safely operate a box truck and forklift is required. This is a process-driven role that requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork.
Performing work in a receiving/dock environment including: driving box truck, loading/unloading package carriers, transportation of packages/pallets between labs and plant docks, processing outbound freight shipments, as well as operating industrial fork truck and box truck. A valid driver’s license and good driving record is required. All work is procedure and processed driven. The right candidate will be an integral part of our talented team, supporting our continued growth as well as be able to perform the before mentioned aspects of the position in a safe and timely manner.

Essential Functions
- Drive box truck
- Lift and deliver packages
- Load /unload trucks as required.
- Operate an industrial fork truck
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner
- Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills required (Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred)
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Willingness and availability to work additional hours if assigned
- Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
- Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- Ability to participate in cross-training as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT Physical.
- Ability to drive a Straight Truck up to 26,000 GVWR.
- Must have a minimum of one year verifiable driving experience in similar sized vehicles. within the last 3 years with a safe driving record.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, as well as perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading goods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
