Serving as a member of the IT Service Desk, this position involves providing high-level technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and recommending efficient solutions while providing a high level of customer service.
What You'll Do
- Provide advanced technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and some network issues.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems related to Meltwaters Information Systems.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of IT systems administered by the IT Service Desk.
- Lead projects and other initiatives as directed by management.
- Monitor and maintain security protocols and practices to protect company data and systems.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to develop or improve the IT service desks knowledge base as well as IT policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular system audits and generate reports on system performance and security.
- Provide training and guidance to junior IT staff and end-users.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements and upgrades.
- Minimum of 7 years in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and MAC OS support.
- Proficiency with Android and iPhone support.
- General knowledge of network protocols and services.
- Strong knowledge of asset management systems such as JAMF and Intune.
- Ability to resolve complex incidents and requests in relation to hardware and software in use by the business.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices

- Hourly Rate of $36 -$40.87 USD per year
- Total compensation range for this position: $75k-$85k USD per year.
