Boeing's Safety and Airworthiness organization is actively seeking a Mid-Level Data Science Engineer to join theirRegulatory Administration and Airworthiness (RA&A) Team based in Everett, WA. In this role, you will be a valued member of the Regulatory Administration - System Oversight Team.

Position Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to collect, process, and store large volumes of data from various sources
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to ensure high performance and efficiency
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data integrity and reliability
- Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, architectures, and workflows
- Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals from various disciplines (e.g. data scientists and analysts, System Engineers) to achieve project goals
- Engage in team discussions and brainstorming sessions to drive innovative solutions and enhance project outcomes
- Foster a positive team dynamic by being a supportive team player and contributing to group efforts
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 3 years of experience as a Data Science Engineer or in a similar role
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R and Java
- Experience with SQL and Data Warehousing
- Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow)
- Experience with cloud technologies, including knowledge of Cloud Foundry and its deployment processes
- Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance best practices
- Experience in business intelligence/data analytics tools (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD, Git practices
- Master's degree
- Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and practices
- Experience with Flask, Django, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML
- Familiarity with machine learning/AI concepts and tools
- Knowledge of text analysis
