The Technical Sales Support is responsible for presenting and evangelizing the company's products and services to prospects and customers. - Responsible for architecting and presenting engineering solutions for company products and providing customer/market feedback on new customer requests. (80%)
- Engage technology decision makers within accounts and develop a full understanding of customers' short and long-term requirements and work closely with sales team to develop comprehensive and practical solutions to address those needs to close business.
- Participate in pre-sales efforts including technical presentations, architecture design discussions, RFP/RFQ/RFI responses, solution demonstrations, and technical workshops.
- Prepares and presents customized technical presentations and demos, online./remotely, to explain the company's current and future strategies, products, services and general company information.
- Develop full proposal pricing plans that address complex business, technical and project requirements.
- Clearly communicate business and technology feature-set and address questions on infrastructure, solution hardware, software, networking, integration and security requirements.
- Participate in product sales, and procedural training and certification to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position
- Assesses potential application of company products and services and offers solutions that meet customer needs.
- Collaborate and provide assistance to Trainer for administrative and end user training to customers ensuring that the products are being effectively utilized.
- Collaborates with Implementation Project Manager for the effective transition of sales orders to the implementation.
- Communicates customer feedback for future product development.
- Provides input and support to the company's leadership in development of joint ventures, affiliations and partnership arrangements with customers, compatible technologies, consultants, educators, media and industry analysts.
- Develop, maintain and ensure consistency of the company's brand and the corporate identity within the company, the distribution channel and related industries.
- Show business awareness, teamwork and leadership.
- Participate in professional societies and activities related to the telecommunications, recording, contact center, public safety and CRM industries.
- Ensures requests, needs, and questions are promptly resolved. Ensures information regarding Company products, programs, and promotions is appropriately provided.

- BS/BA degree preferred in a business-related field (computer science, software engineering or MIS) or a related discipline or the equivalent in technical sales support experience.
- Knowledge of the call recording and telecommunications marketplace and customer base.
- Understanding of product positioning and competitive conditions.
- Knowledge of Professional Services, sales engineering, and sales strategies and techniques.
- Understanding of selling under government contract, as well as competitive bidding situations.
- In depth knowledge of the company's solutions.
- Exposure to database technologies and business intelligence concepts.
- A minimum of 5-8 years' technical sales or sales engineering experience.
- A demonstrated track record of accomplishments in telecommunications or software sales.
- Experience in software demonstrations and articulating the value of call recording software to customers.
- Advanced experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
- Demonstrated experience in the following software programs (Office365, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
- Outstanding oral and written communicator to effectively communicate technical value propositions at multiple levels of an organization.
- 'Can do' attitude and the ability to adapt to change.
- Effective in working both independently and in a team setting.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to build and present high-quality product demonstrations to both technical and executive audiences.
- Must work effectively with information technology executives and staff and staff of affiliated institutions and enterprises.
- Strong customer facing and relationship building skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, maturity and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals including large scale presentations.
- Demonstrated ability in problem solving and negotiation with special emphasis on resolving issues impacting departments or divisions.
- A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of new technology trends and how they would apply to real world projects.

Salary : $15,000 - $80,000
