Our client is currently seeking an impactful Director of Sales & Marketing to anchor the executive team at their headquarters in the Southeast Houston area. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this high-profile position offers immense visibility across the corporate structure and a decisive voice in steering global revenue performance, market penetration, and growth strategy.
The incoming Director will take full ownership of designing and launching the company’s commercial pipeline and marketing frameworks while steering an active team of five specialists. The primary objective is to execute highly disciplined growth initiatives, capture greater market share, and elevate the company’s reputation across the infrastructure, industrial, and expanding data center landscapes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy robust sales methodologies to capture new accounts and expand current high-value customer relationships.
- Drive market-share expansion across the industrial cleaning, asset maintenance, pre-commissioning, and outage management sectors.
- Mentor, evaluate, and develop a high-achieving team of five sales and marketing direct reports.
- Build and maintain an organized sales pipeline, ensuring accurate revenue forecasting, deal strategy, and account prioritization.
- Lead complex contract negotiations and cultivate strong alliances with executive-level client stakeholders.
- Set clear departmental benchmarks, operating budgets, and performance indicators to guarantee predictable, scalable growth.
- Deliver transparent, data-driven updates regarding pipeline health, closed revenue, and forecast analytics to senior leadership.
- Establish a firm understanding of the company's full portfolio of technical service lines spanning the industrial, power, and downstream sectors.
- Support organizational scaling by actively recruiting and training top-tier sales professionals as business needs evolve.
- Travel both domestically and internationally to champion key client relationships and secure new business opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 10 years of business development or sales leadership experience in industrial services or related sectors
- Strong preference for experience in maintenance services, industrial cleaning, specialty services, turnaround/outage support, commissioning/pre-commissioning, or similar industrial project environments
- 5 years of experience leading and developing sales or business development teams
- Proven track record of growing revenue, expanding accounts, and building disciplined sales pipelines
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage senior stakeholders internally and externally
