DIRECTOR OF DISTRIBUTION & LOGISTICS, GROCERY RETAIL, SOUTHERN CA

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
The Director of Distribution & Logistics will over sees the daily activities of all Warehouse Departments (Shipping, Receiving, QC).
Assists with reviewing accident investigations with Safety and supports Safety Department as needed.
Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Performs other duties as assigned, payroll, interacting with 3rd party suppliers.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
5 years in a position with this level of responsibility.
Must have been responsible for achieving a financial budget and providing a status report based on a monthly P&L.
Must have experience with engineered standards with incentive program knowledge a plus.
Must have experience hiring and with enforcing discipline based on HR guidelines.
