Position Summary
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in creating exceptional guest experiences. Our team is dedicated to making every guest feel welcome, valued, and cared for by anticipating needs, solving problems, and delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide a friendly, professional first impression.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
- Organize, confirm, and manage reservations using Opera Cloud PMS, Visionline Key System, and Akia guest communication platform.
- Secure payments, verify billing information, and process adjustments when needed.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, local attractions, and directions.
- Answer guest inquiries in person, by phone, and via email.
- Run daily reports and communicate important information to incoming shifts.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming hotel environment.
- Support management and other departments as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Follow guest service recovery procedures and company standards.
- Upsell room types and hotel amenities to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Handle cash and financial transactions according to company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols.
Customer Service Expectations
- Deliver exceptional guest service at all times.
- Follow the 10-5 Rule when interacting with guests and team members.
- Maintain a warm, positive, and professional demeanor.
- Wear proper work attire and represent the hotel professionally.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of guest service experience, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and move throughout the hotel as needed.
