Our client, a large public works construction company, is looking for experienced Project Managers in the NYC metro area to lead multi-million dollar transportation and railroad construction projects.Only professionals with prior experience working on projects with the MTA and/or LIRR as a general contractor will be considered.Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end project execution for NYC public works projects for agencies such as NYCT, MTA, LIRR, SCA, NYCHA and DASNY.Responsible for overseeing the efforts of all project activities and personnel.Coordinating with different departments both internally externally for project completion.Forecast and track the amount of labor, managerial and material costs necessary to complete a project.Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical field reports, project logs, RFIs, and recommendations.Monitor project scope for changes affecting budget and/or schedule; identifies cause, advises client, and negotiates changes in fee as appropriate.Manage budget and financial reporting, interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.Foster a culture focused on accuracy, safety, and technical excellence throughout all project phases.Manage multiple projects at a time and prioritize workload within the group to ensure that project timelines are metConduct regular on-site visits to ensure safety compliance, quality control, and team coordination.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Minimum of 5 years experience in NYCT projects as a GENERAL CONTRACTOR for NYCT agencies, or equivalent experience in another state if relevant.
