Job Function
As an Estimator, you will be an integral part of our fast-paced environment, conducting construction estimating, budgeting, and bidding for a diverse range of exciting projects.
Responsibilities
- Interacting with architects, clients, business development, and operations s taff to ensure a crystal-clear understanding of project objectives, schedules, and other essential information.
- Developing hard bids and pricing proposals in response to specific proposal requests
- Obtaining cost information from reliable subcontractors and suppliers
- Coordinating with team to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant discipline.
- Strong mathematical and organizational skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in reading plans and performing comprehensive takeoffs.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite software and Adobe Acrobat, allowing you to work efficiently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, ensuring smooth collaboration with all stakeholders.
- Senior Level: A proven track record with at least 5 years of experience in estimating within a professional construction firm with a focus on MEP estimates, demonstrating your expertise and proficiency.
