Job Description
Salary : $110000 - $135000
Our client is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of general collections experience to assist their community association and HOA clients in their Community Association practice group.
- Candidates must be licensed in Virginia**
Job Requirements:
- Independently manage a caseload of 250-400 active collection cases from initial intake to closing of files
- Work closely with paralegals, administrative assistants and Shareholders on collection case load
- Review and interpret client documents and draft legal opinions for Shareholder review
- Regularly handle court appearances in multiple jurisdictions and handle abatement court cases for enforcement of covenants
- Routinely communicate with community association clients and their management agents and provide routine status reports
- Manage billing of hourly time and via task codes for fixed fee collections work
- Routinely attend on-site meetings at client community associations to oversee elections and Board meetings
