Job Description
Salary : $20 - $25
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or guest requests.
- Greet guests and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including bar equipment, tools, and glassware.
- Check identification to ensure guests meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption.
- Manage cash and card transactions accurately; follow proper opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor guest behavior and consumption levels to promote responsible alcohol service.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
- Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene standards as well as licensing laws.
- Collaborate with serving staff, barbacks, and venue managers to ensure smooth service.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume or hospitality setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, RBS) may be required depending on location.
