What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Director / Senior Manager Financial Reporting position at Executive Alliance?
The CFO at one of our clients is hiring an Associate Director / Senior Manager, Financial Reporting to work on a hybrid basis (3 days on site, 2 days remote), reporting to the Director of Finance (who reports to the CFO). This mid-sized client is based in western Suffolk County, Long Island and growing fast both organically and via acquisition.
Base salary up to approx. $175k, maybe a bit more, plus bonus.
This privately-held company may IPO or issue public debt in the near future.
Candidates MUST BE a CPA to be considered.
KEY DIVERSE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 50% leading internal financial & operational reporting (some of which includes large datasets), quarterly bank reporting, prepare, analyze and review KPIs, dashboards, margin / pricing, etc. analysis by SKU, customer, etc.
- 30% analysis, assisting with budgets, process improvements, etc.
- 20% accounting (mostly technical research & new guidance white papers), assisting with external audits, pitching in during monthly financial close
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S. in Accounting or Finance
- MUST BE an a CPA
- 5 years of relevant, ‘hands on’ experience, preferably from a mix of experience in public accounting and private industry, but all private industry experience is ok.
