Local Coordinator for International Exchange Students

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Local Coordinator for International Exchange Students to facilitate a positive and enriching experience for international students participating in exchange programs. This role involves acting as a liaison between students, host families, schools, and community organizations to ensure smooth integration and support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cultural exchange, strong interpersonal skills, and experience in volunteer management or social work. This is a paid position designed to foster cross-cultural understanding and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for international exchange students throughout their stay.
• Coordinate and oversee student activities, orientation sessions, and cultural events to promote integration.
• Recruit community members as host families to support students.
• Provide guidance and support to students on academic, social, and personal matters.
• Facilitate communication between students, families, schools, and program administrators.
• Share training sessions for host families to ensure they are well-prepared.
• Monitor student well-being and address any issues or concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of student placements, activities, and program participation.

Experience

• Experience working with students or in educational settings is preferred.
• Background in teaching or youth mentorship roles is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport with diverse populations.

Pay: $500.00 - $1,000.00 per month
