ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Embody the values guiding principles of Hotel Drover
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a demanding, fast paced environment
- Responsible for guest room inspecting ensuring we are providing the highest level of cleanliness in our guest rooms
- Ensure corridors, and service areas are in proper order
- Ensure total guest satisfaction in regard to personalized service and special attention is paid to call guest rooms
- Supervise and support Supervisors and attendants, Monitor daily work assignments, productivity, and standards
- Responsible for opening and closing the house; creating room attendants boards/room assignments; with a focus on labor productivity
- Patrols guest corridors to guarantee their perfect appearance and conditions
- Ensure room inspection are conducted daily on vacant and occupied rooms
- Ensure proper record-keeping and communication verbally and in writing
- Maintain required par stock for linen, cleaning supplies and amenities in appropriate areas
- Ensure team members are following safety habits and enforces established security procedures.
- Communicate all problems pertaining to the guest room to the appropriate departments
- Provide the front desk with clean rooms on a priority basis and maintain communication
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by leader
MUST HAVES:
- Passion for creating amazing experience for our guests and team members
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building abilities; passion for collaboration and providing administrative support
- Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to lift, bend and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate in the English language
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5 years of Housekeeping leadership experience in a high-end, luxury hotel/resort
- Available to work a varied schedule that will include evenings, weekends and holidays
- Organized and detail oriented with the ability to be flexible
- Must possess the ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner
- Basic computer knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Spanish speaking preferred
- Organization skills and detail oriented
