Therapist (Full-Time, In-Person)

Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse

The Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to serve Weakley and Obion Counties in West Tennessee. This position requires travel throughout the assigned service area and occasional travel to other counties within West Tennessee. Mileage reimbursement is provided for approved travel between service locations.

Position Summary

The Therapist will provide direct clinical services (trauma-focused therapy) to children impacted by abuse, trauma, and related challenges. The ideal candidate is committed to improving the lives of children and families while collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to support client well-being.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field required
• Candidates in their final semester of graduate school will also be considered
• Minimum of one (1) year of professional counseling experience preferred
• Strong communication, assessment, and counseling skills
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout assigned counties and occasionally throughout West Tennessee
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Work Location

This is a full-time, in-person position based out of the Exchange Club - Carl Perkins Center's Weakley County location in Martin, Tennessee, with travel required throughout Obion and Weakley Counties and occasional travel to other areas of West Tennessee as needed.
