Are you energetic, compassionate, and committed to lifelong learning? Join our growing team at Excentia Human Services as a Behavior Specialist Consultant and help provide trauma-informed, behavioral health support to children and families.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct assessments to identify behavioral concerns and underlying triggers.
- Develop individualized behavior plans with strategies to address the challenges identified in the assessments. Update the treatment plans, as required by IBHS guidelines.
- Provide services to the child and parent/caregiver.
- Collaborate with parents, school personnel, caregivers and staff to provide training and guidance on implementing behavior interventions.
- Collect data, analyze data and monitor progress of the child/adolescent.
- Ensure data collection is collected accurately.
- Track progress of the child/adolescent, making necessary adjustments to strategies, and reinforcing positive behaviors.
- Equip both the child/adolescent and their support system with effective strategies to manage behaviors and promote long-term success in daily functioning.
- Responsible for ensuring that interventions are applied with consistency and fidelity, as well as monitor outcome information.
What We’re Looking For:
- A compassionate, energetic, and open-minded team leader
- Availability to work in homes, schools, and community settings
- Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or other related fields of study and a minimum of 1 year full-time experience providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults. Licensure preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have reliable transportation.
