Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and implement therapeutic strategies.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide therapy and interventions to improve communication skills and swallowing abilities.
- Educate patients and their families about communication disorders and therapies available.
- Must be a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of New York.
- Preferred: Previous experience in a nursing home setting.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an SLP.
