Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the DON and ADON to oversee overnight nursing operations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Supervise and support nursing staff while ensuring adherence to job responsibilities, facility policies, and clinical standards.
- Conduct daily rounds to monitor resident care, staff performance, and clinical practices.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nurses and CNAs throughout the shift.
- Address resident care concerns, emergencies, and staffing issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with facility surveys and maintain continuous readiness for regulatory inspections.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of nursing documentation and required reports.
- Promote a safe, professional, and resident-centered environment.
- Current, valid RN license in the State of New Jersey.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in long-term care/skilled nursing.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions during the overnight shift.
