Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff during the evening shift.
- Collaborate with the DON and ADON to maintain effective nursing operations and consistent standards of care.
- Conduct nursing rounds to monitor care delivery, identify concerns, and coordinate appropriate follow-up.
- Monitor staff adherence to facility policies, procedures, and assigned responsibilities.
- Promptly report changes in resident condition to the appropriate RN, provider, and care team members.
- Promote clear communication, teamwork, and accountability among nursing staff.
- Assist with facility surveys, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Perform assigned duties within the scope of the applicable RN or LPN license.
- Current, active RN or LPN license authorizing practice in Florida.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Previous nursing supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Sound judgment and the ability to recognize and promptly escalate clinical concerns.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
